Postage
You can choose different postage options and check prices using the postage calculator in Your Shopping Basket.
For UK Recorded Post, add 70p to total postage charges. (This only applies to people in the UK!!)
For International Registered Post, add £3.40 to total postage charges (a signature is required on receipt of parcel). (This applies to the rest of the world)
We use UPS as a secure express delivery option, please include a phone number when placing the order, as if they try to deliver your parcel and you’re not in, they can then contact you direct to arrange a convenient time. Your number will not be passed on anywhere else.
Stock
We only sell brand new CDs and videos, not used items.
Most CDs we carry in stock and can be despatched quickly, those items which are not on site, can take up to 10 days to be ready for despatch.
Delivery time
When we have the items of your order it is despatched quickly. In the UK we use Royal Mail First Class Post, for exports we use standard Air Mail unless instructed otherwise.
Sending The Order
Please use the search pages to make a list of the items you want, and add them to the shopping basket. Press the order button, then fill in the order form with your full name, email address, street address, and your credit card details. Please note, you will receive an order confirmation once your order has been accepted, the email will tell you that you're due to receive a second email when we dispatch your order.
Secure Web Order & Credit Card
We can only accept Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta and Switch cards for payment. Your card is debited only after the items are sent.
Credit card fraud attempts will be reported to the authorities.
When entering credit card details take GREAT care that they are correct as this is the most common way to delay your order. The credit card number is the long number across the middle of the card, (NOT the “Card No.” printed at the bottom) and should contain no letters. Enter the expiry date (NOT the valid from date). Switch users must also include the issue number
Cancellations
If you want to cancel your order, please notify us as soon as possible. It may be that your order has already been despatched so we are unable to stop it. We cannot guarantee to cancel items from an order. The only opportunity we have to cancel is when waiting for product that is out-of-stock. Cancellation requests must be sent by email, quoting your order number, to Mailorder at Alma Road
Guarantees and Returns
All items are guaranteed to be brand new and should reach you in perfect condition. CD cases do occasionally get cracked in the post, we will send replacements if this happens.
We will only replace items that are defective, or sent in error.
This is subject to the buyer notifying the company within five working days of receipt of the goods and giving a description of the damage / defect. Do not send items back without our permission.
Report faulty items by email to Mailorder at Alma Road and we will send you return instructions.
Your orders will be processed by Alma Road Mail Order, which is the on-line division of the following labels: 4AD, Beggars Banquet, Mantra, Matador, Mo' Wax, Nation, Too Pure, Wiiija, and XL Recordings. Alma Road can supply the entire catalogue of these labels, as well as exclusive and hard to find items that aren't available elsewhere.
